Melissa Keklak is a publicity, social media, and event coordinating expert as well as an entrepreneur professional with over MMKpr1ten years of experience. Native of East Stroudsburg, PA, a sporadic move to Los Angeles ultimately equipped her with the varied skill set that she now utilizes daily as the founder of MMKpr. Melissa has worked with clients in many different industries including music, fashion, entertainment/celebrity and sports.

Initially, Keklak began her professional career as the SR. Manager of Public Relations for Casio America, Inc. She was in charge of public relations across all divisions, working extensively on media relations and strategic communications. Today, Melissa oversees campaigns with growing urban artists, fashion brands, fitness experts, and innovative lifestyle brands.

Her expertise helped revitalized the Casio brands, specifically G-Shock, by designing strategic public relations programs to spark excitement and raise awareness for the product categories. This eventually positioned them to become leaders in their respective industries. Keklak was also responsible for familiarizing both the G-Shock and Baby-G brands with the music industry and for 40+ artist collaborations during her time with Casio.

In 2011 Keklak relocated to California and launched her own public relations agency, MMKpr. Since launching, she has worked with more than 30 different brands and music artists including Mountain Dew, Nike, Clinton Sparks, Brisk, Lil Debbie, Hit Boy, Hurley, and the Conglomerate’s J-Doe.

Keklak was responsible for the launch of SOL REPUBLIC headphones as well as the publicity and social engagement for the Brisk Summer Concert Series. Fulfilling a passion of working with music, Melissa and MMKpr have been instrumental in the launch and media outreach programs for a variety of Indie artists including the world’s first live stream concert platform, 2vLive. She’s dedicated across both independent and mainstream artists, brands and personalities including Rostrum Records, Lil Debbie, HS87, Power 106's Yesi Ortiz and many more. She’s been able to create engaging campaigns and events that include Timeless Los Angeles presented by G-Shock & Brisk and Hit Boy's official 2015 Grammy Soiree.

Being recognized for her hard work and dedication, Keklak has been featured by various outlets; being named top branding expert, a Who's Who Of 2014 by Kaboom Magazine and One Who Stayed Winning in 2014 by Kicks on Fire.

Her work ethic and success has led her to speak on behalf of her experiences, entrepreneurism, branding, and publicity at conferences and panels throughout the US. Most recently she’s appeared as a speaker at the annual Urban Network Conference, Her Story Conference, and Three Cities Festival. Melissa is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a certified She Source expert, and member of the Entertainment Publicists Professional Society (EPPS).
